Please join us for our Grand Reopening on Friday, April 29, 2022 starting at 4:30pm. The grand reopening is in celebration of the successful completion of the 17 month long habitat and aquatic restoration project at the Preserve.

The program will include guest speakers, a ribbon cutting ceremony, information stations, self-guided tours, family activities, free native plant seeds, cake, and tree and shrub planting in observance of Arbor Day.

The Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve is managed by the Muskegon Environmental Research & Education Society (MERES), a 503 (c) nonprofit for enjoyment by the public and to inspire individuals of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to enjoy, discover and cherish the natural environment.
